There is a grace period you can set to give you extra time to check-in. If one does trigger and you didn't want it to, you have full control of the share links and can revoke them immediately.
Your data stays intact, but deadman switches won't work without an active subscription. You won't have access to any features without an active subscription. If you delete your account, we immediately delete everything and cannot recover it.
